Nutrient availability depending on the pH
Plant nutrients availability vary greatly depending on the pH of the solution.
The pH where the availability is the best is between 6 and 6.5. Some plants prefer more acidic or basic medium because they are more sensitive to the toxicity due to excess of certain nutrient.
